Hi,

I just clicked today on DC after about half a month, and went through all these advertisements.
Then I noticed an advertisement about "SpywareStop" but I just felt it wasnt real.

So after some googling :
Quote
A Rogue Security Program is software that purports to scan and detect malware or other problems on the computer, but which attempts to dupe or badger users into purchasing the program by presenting the user with intrusive, deceptive warnings and/or false, misleading scan results. Rogue Security Programs typically use aggressive, deceptive advertising and may be installed without adequate notice and consent, often through exploits.
And it IS a rogue security program, source = Sunbelt

Another quote :
Quote
Don't trust new software named SpywareStop! It's another fraudulent tool available online. SpywareStop is non-functional; at least it doesn't do anything what anti spyware should do. It is not capable of detecting or deleting malwares; Spyware Stop is only able to load falsified security messages and offer full version for a certain fee. Don't waste your time and money for the full version of SpywareStop; the full version is non-functional as well.

Do NOT trust this application. Suggest if you have it that you uninstall immediately and scan with a proper real anti-spyware and anti-virus too.
But the main goal for this application is to let the users buy the software and let then delete the non existing spyware.

I noticed that ad also and thought it seemed a little off for some reason.
Good work! Has anyone else noticed lately some sites run ads for auto
click programs? WTF! This is exactly whu sites ban some countries and
use cheat links yet they willingly run ads for it. Don't tell me they don't
know what they are running because each link is supposed to be checked
before processing. If they aren't then they should be so members don't
get nailed with trash such as frame breakers, porn and viruses.  :Smiley
